In a remarkable display of nature’s power, two bald eagles were recently seen locked in a fierce aerial battle. The clash, which occurred high above a forested area, was likely a territorial dispute or a contest over food—both common reasons for such encounters among these majestic birds.
Bald eagles, known for their impressive wingspans of up to seven feet, are highly territorial, particularly during the breeding season. When two eagles encounter each other in overlapping territories, they may engage in intense fights, using their sharp talons and powerful beaks as weapons.
