Tesla is slashing Cybertruck prices by up to $6,000. Is this enough to get you behind the wheel of the electric pickup?
Buyers can now save up to $4,000 on regular models and $6,000 on the high-end Foundation Series, marking Tesla’s most aggressive price cut yet.
The 2025 Cybertruck is eligible for a $7,500 federal EV tax credit, but the 2024 version does not qualify, adding further challenges to clearing stock.
Despite its futuristic design and ambitious production goals, Tesla appears to be struggling with demand for its electric pickup.
With thousands of Cybertrucks reportedly sitting in inventory, Tesla may need to pivot its strategy. Introducing the lower-cost single-motor variant could help broaden appeal, especially as price remains a key concern for potential buyers.
However, political uncertainty surrounding EV tax credits and the polarizing perception of the Cybertruck itself could make recovery difficult.
