July 2014: Times of India reported that archaeologist J. R. Bhagat from Chhattisgarh’s archaeology department suggested cave paintings near Charama (in Bastar) appear to depict humanoid figures with bulbous heads and disc-shaped “flying saucers.” The local tribal folklore refers to “Rohela people”—small beings who reportedly descended from the sky, abducting villagers
