Manchester Airport in the United Kingdom was the scene of an event that continues to generate intense discussions on social media and specialized media. The images have now gone viral but it was in June 2024 when a spherical, silver-blue unidentified flying object (UFO) was observed on one of the airport’s runways.
The images and videos were shared on social media by witnesses. And this material has recently resurfaced thanks to its viralization by the British media Daily Star .
The object, described as being the size of a small car, briefly hovered on the ground before suddenly rising as a terminal security vehicle approached. Several witnesses, including airport workers, captured images and videos showing the object hovering in the air for several seconds before disappearing.
The lack of an official statement from airport authorities left the case open to interpretation. Social media users debated possible explanations. Among the most discussed theories was that it could be some technological object, such as an experimental drone or some testing device.
Although there has also been speculation about some meteorological object or the widespread theories about unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) . Proponents of the UFO hypothesis believe that this sighting represents evidence of non-human technology.
Mexican ufologist and journalist Jaime Maussan shared the video on his social media, calling it one of the best recordings of a “UFO phenomenon.” Meanwhile, some aviation experts have acknowledged the uniqueness of the footage, although without offering definitive explanations.
